Connecticut's Pact With Casinos. HARTFORD, CT
(2005-05-05) Jeff Benedict concludes a two-part
commentary on Casino Gambling in this Sunday's
Commentary section of the Hartford Courant. "Measuring
the Toll of Connecticut's Casinos" is a critical
view of the revenue that the state receives every
year from the two Indian casinos in Connecticut.
Last year, they added 400 million dollars, or
25 percent of their take from slot machines to
